Agronomist Team Leader
Duties
- View, edit, add any and all activities at a farm (spray, irrigation, harvest, planting, etc.)
- View historical data related to a specific area of land within the farm (historical harvest and yield information, soil analysis, plant analysis, organic testing etc)
- View production metrics from each farm such as temperature, moisture, soil content, chemicals & fertilizer and more
- Oversee and direct planning, management, implementation and reporting of the activity
- Assist a Farm Manager to prepare work-plans and Manage the farm
- Provide technical support to the team in developing appropriate intervention strategies
- Monitor progress of activities compared to work plan through staff meetings, site visits regularly, and reports, discussions with Farm Manager and support committee. When required, determine areas for adjustment / improvement, in consultation with the Farm manager.
- Ensure the concrete information & appropriate documentation necessary for activity records for specific activities is completed by team.
- Contribute to the planning and organizing of activities in the target under supervision in coordination with Farm Manager.
- In all activities ensure a technical support have been involved worker in decision making, planning and implementing, in a participatory, empower, sustainable manner is followed.
- Responsible to submit a completion of specific daily worker recording
Requirements
- At least 4th year university student in rural development, Agriculture and Business. A degree in Agriculture is preferred.
- Good communication skills
- Must have strong experiencing in agricultural background
- Positive outlook and a problem solving approach
- Good English (speaking, listening & writing)
- Willingness to live and work in remote rural areas
- An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong personality, ability work as a team
- Age 20 to 25 Year

Farm Manager/ Agronomist
Duties
- Deciding the type of crops to be planted, its quality, quantity, and mode of harvest, preparing detailed plans regarding its planting and harvesting schedules, and collaborating with farm operators for carrying out these activities.
- Planning and preparing the finance reports, setting up budget limit for various farm activities, and maintaining the farm activities in agreement with the budgeted parameters
- Performing laborious farm activities like driving tractors on field, operating field based machinery and equipment, spraying fertilizers on field, etc.
- Hiring full time / temporary field workers for tilling ground, managing harvest and other minor duties as required, and managing work schedule, etc., of these workers accordingly
- Buying farm supplies like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, arranging repair and maintenance of field equipment, machineries, farm buildings, etc.
- Monitoring health and safety measures undertaken by the farm estate, keeping track of the health and safety of workers and other staff, maintaining environmental biodiversity, and undertaking environmental protection activities if required
- Monitoring entire production activities, making sure that the actual production is in accordance with production goals set and identifying and correcting the field production issue if the actual production is not in accordance with production goals
Requirements
- Finished Degree Agriculture at University
- At least 4 year of work experience.
- Have knowledge related farm manager
- Excellence English (speaking, listening & writing)
- Computer Word, Excel, Internet and Email.
- Make schedules for planting and harvesting on the farm
- Deciding which crops to plant and in what quantities and what fertilizer to use.
- Good communication skills
- Responsibility and self-confidence to solve problems
- Well organized, with good planning skill
- Willingness to live and work in remote rural areas
- Strong personality, ability work as a team
- Age 32 to 40 Year
