Assistant Manager of Handicraft Operations
Duties
- This job is good for the person of many skills who desires and is not afraid of a challenge. As Assistant Manager of Operations in Siem Reap, the candidate will manage our operations including employees and weavers throughout Siem Reap Province. Travel to the countryside is necessary at least once per week (up to 20km). Candidate will supervise payments to makers, purchasing of raw materials, care and labeling of finished product before shipping, and help to ensure product is made to specific measurements and standards. Candidate will be expected to develop positive and caring relationships with all staff and makers and communicate with our main offices in Phnom Penh and the United States as necessary. Candidate will be trained onsite in Siem Reap. Lodging provided if needed.
Requirements
- High degrees of honesty and integrity
- Four year bachelors degree or equivalent - Can be business management, accounting, finance or another field of study.
- Confident math and computer skills -
- Superior organizational, leadership and problem solving skills
- Good English speaking, writing, listening.
- Excellent people skills - communicate3 well with people from all levels of society
- SUGGESTED (but not required) HELPFUL SKILLS:
- Experience in photo editing or graphics software, website development, accounting software
