Charter Doorsteps Project Manager with Chab Dai Coalition
| Description |
|
Chab Dai Coalition:
Vision: “Chab Dai dreams of a society where diverse groups and organisations work together to abolish all forms of abuse and exploitation.”
Mission Statement: “Chab Dai is inspired by Christian faith, commitment to excellence, and to work strategically and collaboratively in order to facilitate connectivity, generate and share knowledge, advocate for transformed societies and empowered communities, support strength and promote hope for the future.”
Introduction:
Chab Dai has a proven track record as learning community of 57 Christian organizations who are directly working with more than 10,134 clients with 1,617 Staffs and 42 volunteers. As a community, we seek to build the capacity and support among national staff in order to raise the standard of care and intervention at both the organizational and community levels. Chab Dai also has the significant role of being a bridge builder – we seek to represent the Christian NGO community in a professional and relevant manner within other sectors such as Government and UN agencies.
Charter-Doorsteps Project’s aim is collectively leading the way forward in raising the standards of program impact and care, sustainability, and accountability through structured assessment, mentoring, and training programs for organisations working to end trafficking, exploitation, and abuse. This project is designed explicitly to anticipate the future: to ensure that Christian organisations, especially Cambodian organisations, are positioned effectively to withstand difficulties and build strong organisational foundations to implement best practice and care in counter-trafficking.
The Charter-Doorsteps Project is administered in the hope that organisations will become better at what they do, and that they will continue to raise the standard of work in this area. In this way Charter-Doorsteps is not directly impacting children and vulnerable people, but is recognizing the need for organisations, particularly smaller, local organisations, to be empowered to make a change in their country and beyond. |
