Pact is an international NGO working in Cambodia to strengthen the capacity of Cambodian NGOs, Government and Private Sectors to contribute to the development of Cambodia.
Pact Cambodia is currently engaged in programs institutionalizing good local governance and social development, curbing corruption, preserving community forests and promoting ecologically sustainable livelihoods, and empowering women by increasing literacy and economic opportunities. Pact Cambodia is currently recruiting a Volunteer for Women’s Economic Empowerment and Governance Programs as following:
General Description:
The Program Volunteer will work with the Economic Empowerment Program (EEP) and Governance teams to document both successes and lessons learned and to identify ways to improve the program (related to field impact, procedures, monitoring and evaluation, and overall strategy/scope). The Volunteer will also provide English language support to the teams from both Economic Empowerment Program and Governance units and will liaise with the larger NGO community as appropriate in order to gain a more broad understanding of micro-finance, micro-enterprise and women’s economic empowerment, resiliency and sub-national governance in target provinces. The Program Volunteer will report directly to the EEP Program Coordinator on Women’s Economic Empowerment related activities and to the Decentralization and Governance Director on Governance related activities. |

Requirements
- University degree in the field of international development, social sciences, women’s /gender studies, governance/ political science, decentralization, Environment and Natural Resource Management or a related field
- An understanding of women’s economic empowerment and gender sensitivity
- Knowledge on governance and decentralization is an advantage
- Understanding of micro-finance and micro-enterprise an advantage
- Understanding of resilient/climate change adaptation is an advantage
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation and conducting qualitative and quantitative research an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Khmer skills is an advantage
