Cambodia Advance Communications Ltd or “CADCOMMS” aims to be one of the leading telecommunication services providers in Cambodia. The company was granted its telecommunications license in 2006 and launched its services in March 2008. CADCOMMS operates a 3.75G mobile telephony service using the ‘qb’ brand under a concession granted by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication of Cambodia (MPTC).

We are serving both the corporate and consumer markets and our goal is to be the most advanced and recognized mobile phone service provider in Cambodia. To achieve this we have formed solid partnerships with other local and international companies.
Furthermore, to support our customers, we have a customer service centre in Phnom Penh and many more are planned in other cities in Cambodia to ensure our customers have easy access to, and support from our highly skilled service staff at any time.

Duties + Requirements
IN/Billing Engineer

Duties
  • Monitor the performance of the IN/Billing/VAS Platforms
  • Undertake a regular service and maintenance program, including support and optimisation of billing and VAS systems, hardware and software
  • Validate rated records/events in a regular interval, ensure accuracy and service availabilities
  • Collect, manipulate, filter, validate fact data from various systems
  • Extract, design and validate reports
  • Requirements analysis, develop and implement solutions
  • Follow up and resolve complaints
  • Monitor the performance of the applications.
  • Other tasks will assigned by Line Manager
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience required
  • Telecom Experience Mandatory
  • Knowledge of RedHat, and/or Sun Solaris , HP Unix
  • Experience in UNIX scripting, Java and Web Development
  • Experience in Oracle SQL Scripting
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT / software development
  • Experience in using report designing tools, database optimisation, web server management would be a plus – Crystal
  • Report, BIRT, Oracle, Apache, etc.
  • Knowledge of networking management and troubleshooting will be an added advantage
  • English language skills
  • Able to understand and communicate with a wide variety of people
  • Active interest in maintaining personal technical skills and knowledge
  • Able to investigate, identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Have good customer service and public contact skill


Database Supervisor

Duties
  • Implement, maintain and monitor database (Oracle, MySQL, Sql Server) and services environment.
  • Design, create and maintain business reports.
  • Create, manage and monitor multiple databases for all environments and database logging procedures
  • Provide general troubleshooting expertise for MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle backed applications.
  • Assist with maintaining security and appropriate access to databases for developers and user
  • Identify and document database processes and resources and opportunities to improve database performance through tuning and queries.
  • Manage database servers and disk resources as required to maximize and performance (CPU, Disk I/O, Memory).
  • Collaborate with business owners on needs and translate them into analytics/reporting requirements,improved data management and delivery.
  • Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, visibility and value.
  • Implementation of new BI tools and design of Data Warehouses to enable the business to perform real time reporting.
  • Enable fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis using data mining and reporting tailored to the needs of the end user.
  • Deliver data exports in an easy to understand format that summarizes the data at a high level and contains the detailed information for targeted analysis.
  • Responsible for design and maintenance the company existing web pages/web servers such as DSS, POS, Marketing Intelligence, or Vehicle
  • Booking management websites.
  • Build new and Provide support or fix issue on POS for sale team or supply chain in order to run POS smoothly

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree Engineering, IT, or Computer Science preferred
  • 2+ years experience implementing data warehouse designs, DBA qualification & Billing is preferred
  • Understanding of the definitions, analysis and reporting outputs from the data warehouse
  • Ability to create standards documents, data design documents and system diagrams
  • Writing / tuning data ingestion procedures from external suppliers and partners using PL/SQL, sql loader, 3rd party tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards in website development and content accessibility
  • Comprehensive knowledge of web development application packages such visual studio, HTML, XML, C#, .NET, scripting languages, and cross-platform web accessibility standards In-depth knowledge of SQL Server/Oracle 9i/10g/11g/MySQL , PL/SQL including tuning.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux in a multi-domain environment including basic commands and shell scripting; managing multiple RDBMS on large systems
  • Oracle performance and tuning skills including server configuration and tracing facilities and Oracle Recovery Manager, Import/Export (and Data pump), SQL*Loader, DTS packages.
  • Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service by 24/7 support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by our business systems.
  • Can manage and maintenance of back-ups & recovery procedures.
  • Be able to produce database health check reports.
