CCIM is the only independent and professional media organization in Cambodia that works to promote human rights and responsible journalism through both media production and dissemination, and the implementation of community projects. CCIM is looking for candidates to fill in Trainee positions as below:
Position: M & E Officer (Trainee)
Scope: The trainee will work closely with M&E coordinator and Media Department Director to monitor and evaluate the activities of media department.
Reports to: M&E Coordinator & Media Director
Manages: None
Position: Database Management Officer (Trainee)
Scope: The trainee has to manage the database system by working independently, but under the supervision of Media Director. S/He is responsible to install data into the system, maintenance, research and share important information to other departments.
Reports to: Media Director
Manages: none
Position: Online TV News Reporter/Presenter (Trainee)
Scope: The trainee is responsible for producing news and feature reports assigned to him or her by their Producer/Editor and TV Online Manager.
Reports to: Online TV Producer/Editor
Manages: none
Position: Camera Operator/Video Editor (Trainee)
Scope: The trainee is directly responsible and shooting news/feature reports assigned to him/her by their Editor/Producer and Online TV Manager.

M & E Officer (Trainee)
Duties
- Monitor and evaluate media activities and results.
- Improve quality, efficiency and relevance of CCIM M&E tools and procedures.
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Recent graduate or studying in Social Sciences/Human Rights/Project Management or a related field.
- At least 1 years of successful experience in M&E
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills as well as ability to report to several management lines, both horizontal and vertical.
- Ability to be work as a team and able to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to manage staff to meet work goals and competing priorities
- High level skills in MS Office and computer literacy
- Excellent writing and speaking skills in Khmer and English
- Sound understanding of Cambodian context in terms of media independency as well as rights to freedom of expression and access to information
- Sound understanding of gender and willingness to promote gender equality and women empowerment both within CCIM and through its projects
- A passionate and energetic team member with a genuine interest in working to develop independent and professional media, promote human rights and democratic governance

Database Management Officer (Trainee)
Duties
- Install data into the system.
- Maintenance database system.
- Research and share important information to other departments
- Other duties as required
Requirements

- At least 1 years of successful experience in database management

Online TV News Reporter/Presenter (Trainee)
Duties
- Produce daily news/ feature/ investigative report.
- Produce weekly or monthly report if required by news Editors or TV Manager.
- Act as Presenter
- Travel to province as required
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Journalism skill or related field
- At least 1 year’s successful working experience in the position of news reporter
- Successful experience in producing breaking news, in-depth reports and interviews
- Proficient English speaker, and capable of listening, writing and reading in English
- Good interpersonal and written communications skills
- Voice talent in news reading
- Strong Leadership skills
- Good computer literacy across MS Office programs, Internet research and competent at typing Khmer Unicode
- Capable of using social media networks, internet and email
- Experience in using Adobe Audition
- Wide understanding of social issues
- Capable of creative, critical thinking and speaking
- Ability to travel to the provinces when required
- A passionate and energetic team member with a genuine interest in working to develop independent and professional media, promote human rights and democratic governance

Camera Operator/Video Editor (Trainee)
Duties
- Produce daily news/ feature/ investigative report
- Ensure all production are stored in safe places
- Be able to travel to province as required
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- At least last 1 year’ working experience in the position of Camera Operator
- Capable of listening, writing and reading in English
- Good interpersonal and written communications skills
- Good computer literacy across MS Office programs, Internet research, typing Khmer Unicode and
- Capable of using social media networks, internet and email
- Experience in using Video Editing (Adobe Premiere, Eduis,… )
- Wider understanding of social issues
- Capable of creative, critical thinking and speaking
- Able to travel to the provinces when required
- A passionate and energetic team member with a genuine interest in working to develop independent and
- professional media, promote human rights and democratic governance.

All trainees must be a dedicated team member with a passion for press freedom issues in Cambodia and with a demonstrable understanding of the goals of CCIM and VOD.
