Mekong Quilts is a project of our parent NGO Mekong Plus, which runs community development program in a very poor remote area in Cambodia. Mekong Quilts specializes in high quality handmade craft quilts, home-ware and gift items made from sustainable local materials.
We have two shops in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap. All profits generate from our shops are reinvested in the village in Svay Rieng province to support sustainable development programs.
We are looking for 2 Candidates to join our team in Siem Reap’s shop. |

Sale Officer
Duties
- Your responsibilities will be included the following
- Greeting customers who enter the shop.
- Be involved in stock control and management.
- Helping customers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
- Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
- Answering queries from customers.
- Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
- Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
- Balancing cash registers with receipts.
- Dealing with customer refunds.
- Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
- Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
- Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
- Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
- Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
Requirements
- Good command in English communication and other language is benefit
- Good computer skill (Ms Word/Excel).
- Have some experience or training in sale/ marketing is advantage
- Good interpersonal skills & Friendly
- Self-motivated, strong team spirit & Hardworking
- Female and Local only

The Successful candidate will be worked as our full time staff based in Siem Reap, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
We offer competitive salary + commission + Social Funs + Insurance both health and accident.
