| Description |
| The Bong Paoun Project has been operating since 2009 and is a project of the ICA church in Phnom Penh. The Bong Paoun Project provides emotional support (through mentors) and some financial assistance to selected slum living children and their families.
The Bong Paoun Project is now looking for passionate and qualified candidates to fill a vacant position of “Case Worker” based in Sen Sok, Phnom Penh. The successful applicant will be required to provide high quality individual-focused case management to the Bong Paoun clients and their families. |

| Duties + Requirements |
| Case Worker
Duties
- To provide ongoing support and expertise through comprehensive planning, implementation and overall evaluation of individual client needs.
- Refer clients to appropriate community agencies such as health and counselling services for medical, mental, physical, social and educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with partners providing specialist services to BPP clients (e.g. Local churches, education, counselling, health and employment providers etc.)
- Be responsive to the particular needs of each client in order for them to begin the journey of transformation.
- Collect accurate data and keep it in a professional and secure manner ensuring client files are completed professionally and up-to-date along with other reports as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Psychology, Social Science, Social Work or other related skills
- At least 1 year experience, preferably for an NGO, in Social Work
- Communicate well in written and spoken Khmer and English (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent Case Management and record keeping skills
- Understanding and/or experience working with traumatised individuals
- Willingness to wholeheartedly commit to the Bong Paoun Project’s vision, mission and core values
