Junior IT Support Engineer
Duties
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, network equipment
- Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
- Overseeing computer security (hotfixes), antivirus, inventory and as well as documentation
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
- Maintaining records of software licenses
- Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies
- User support by email or issue ticket
- Communicate with computer users to determine the nature of problems
- Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements
- Provisioning user request according to guideline/procedure
- Onsite user support
- Remote internal staff support
Requirements
- Work Experience: 2 years
- Qualification: Bachelor
- Field of Study: Information Technology
- Language: English Excellent
- Gender: Male/Female
- Marital: Unlimited
- Skills and experience required
- Good written and oral skills in English
- Communication skills
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize the problems and manage the tracking management
- Strong Hardware, software and network troubleshooting experience are required
- Knowledge and experience in software and user account initialization, setup, and repair in Linux, MAC OSX and Windows environments
- Basic/good understanding of LDAP, SSH, HTTP, DNS, Networking
- Patience
- Capable of working well under pressure
- Enthusiasm to be continually learning
