| Description |
| The Cambodian Health Committee (CHC) is a leading local NGO founded in 1994 with programs focusing on tuberculosis (TB), HIV/AIDS, Social Health Protection (SHP) and Maternal Child Health and Nutrition in Cambodia. CHC has been granted fund to re-launch and manage Health Equity Fund (HEF) in Linkage with Community Based Health Insurance (CBHI) in Thmor Puok Operational District (OD) in Banteay Meanchey province since June 2014.
CHC is now recruiting a qualified Cambodian national to fill the position of Social Health Protection Project Manager based in Thma Pouk OD. |

| Social Health Protection Project Manager
Duties
- Be responsible for the overall implementation of the SHP scheme in Thma Pouk OD
- Provide technical and programmatic assistance to project team on SHP implementation
- Provide strategic leadership to improve the project implementation
- Assess quality of care of health care provider and provide recommendations for improvement
- Conduct monitoring and evaluation of the project activities according to the activities mentioned in the proposal
- Develop work plan for staff in close cooperation with the project assistant/team leader and CHC management staff
- Develop a budget plan and monitor all project expenses according to CHC and donor requirements
- Coordinate training and meeting activities according to the projects needs
- Liaise with ministry of health, provincial health department (MoH/ PHD) and OD for all project related activities and provide recommendations to all stakeholders
- Prepare progress reports as required to CHC, MoH and donors
Requirements
- University degree in development, management, medicine or other equivalent qualification
- Experience in project management including financial and human resources management and monitoring and evaluation
- Good knowledge of the Cambodian health system and health financing measures (CBHI/HEF)
- Experience in donor funded programs
- Strong interpersonal skills with shown ability to guide and motivate staff
- Good computer knowledge (Office, Excel, Power Point, and Internet)
- Good report writing and data analyzing skills
- Good spoken and written English
