Position summary
The Senior Manager of our Cables division is responsible for the overall operational management of the entire division and all its subsidiary departments. The activities include sales, marketing, technical service, inventory management, direct expenses control, personnel planning & development and profit and loss accountability. The senior manager shall furthermore plan, organize and control selling operations of products distributed within the division throughout the country to achieve sales targets and profitability as well as to ensure meeting the expectations and needs of all customers and principals.

Senior Manager (Cables Division)

  Duties
  • Profit and Loss accountability which includes preparing and recommending yearly sales and operating expense budgets and overseeing them at all times.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing plans and strategies for existing products, new products and developing products
  • Train, develop, supervise, motivate and lead your team members and equip them with sound product knowledge, systems, strategy and selling skills to ensure effective implementation of the strategy in order to derive optimal performance
  • Ensure regular reporting to the Company Management in order to raise concerns and deviations of any kind at the soonest possible time
  • Ensure regular customer visits in order to maintain a good relationship with them and to gain a clear understanding of their needs & requirements
  • Maintain close communications with principals overseas to seek advice on problems relating to product quality and provide information on local market situation
  • Ensure proper stock planning & control
  • Monitor outstanding accounts and ensure collection target is met
  Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in electrical engineering (or similar technical field)
  • At least 4 to 5 years experience in the field of technical sales and marketing (preferably within the cable industry and/or the M&E business).
  • Intense knowledge of the real estate construction & factory building business
  • Advanced user in Excel & PowerPoint
  • English and Khmer is a basic requirement
  • Open minded, Team player

Database Supervisor

Duties
  • Implement, maintain and monitor database (Oracle, MySQL, Sql Server) and services environment.
  • Design, create and maintain business reports.
  • Create, manage and monitor multiple databases for all environments and database logging procedures
  • Provide general troubleshooting expertise for MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle backed applications.
  • Assist with maintaining security and appropriate access to databases for developers and user
  • Identify and document database processes and resources and opportunities to improve database performance through tuning and queries.
  • Manage database servers and disk resources as required to maximize and performance (CPU, Disk I/O, Memory).
  • Collaborate with business owners on needs and translate them into analytics/reporting requirements,improved data management and delivery.
  • Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, visibility and value.
  • Implementation of new BI tools and design of Data Warehouses to enable the business to perform real time reporting.
  • Enable fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis using data mining and reporting tailored to the needs of the end user.
  • Deliver data exports in an easy to understand format that summarizes the data at a high level and contains the detailed information for targeted analysis.

  • Writing / tuning data ingestion procedures from external suppliers and partners using PL/SQL, sql loader, 3rd party tools.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of web development application packages such visual studio, HTML, XML, C#, .NET, scripting languages, and cross-platform web accessibility standards In-depth knowledge of SQL Server/Oracle 9i/10g/11g/MySQL , PL/SQL including tuning.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux in a multi-domain environment including basic commands and shell scripting; managing multiple RDBMS on large systems
  • Oracle performance and tuning skills including server configuration and tracing facilities and Oracle Recovery Manager, Import/Export (and Data pump), SQL*Loader, DTS packages.
  • Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service by 24/7 support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by our business systems.
  • Can manage and maintenance of back-ups & recovery procedures.
  • Be able to produce database health check reports.
